My name is Jake and I am the owner of the business, establishing our roots in the city of Scotts Valley at the tail end of 2024.

I have grown up around animals my whole life and have always had a cat or dog around. I went to school at UC Davis and graduated with a B.S. in Animal Science with an emphasis in animal behavior. During my time in college, I held an internship at the campus goat barn and worked with non-human primates. For most of my life I’ve fostered cats for a local rescue in the Fresno, CA area and have dealt with conditions such as URI and diabetes treatment. In addition to fostering from an early age, I have also maintained doing “hobby” pet sitting for the majority of my life.

I am passionate about the ethical treatment of animals and am able to assure you that your pet will enjoy themselves beyond measure and be left in great hands with me.

My experience with dogs ranges from small to large. I currently have a Pit Bull mix at my home who I walk and care for regularly. At the moment I do not have any cats but I am a huge cat lover and look forward to having my own when I am able to. In addition to companion animals, I have some experience working with fish, small farm animals such as chickens and goats, and reptiles. I had previously work with a pet sitting company and then spent some time working in biotech. I have found myself always coming back to pet sitting and am now ready to operate my own business providing exceptional care to animals and establishing great connections with their owners!
